Meet Lehua, the official Ohana Cove mascot. 🐓🌺
If you’ve ever spent time in Hawaiʻi, you already know… chickens are part of the soundtrack. They’re in the neighborhoods, on the beaches, in the parking lots, crossing the road like they own the island, because honestly, they kind of do.
For us, Lehua feels extra special.
Growing up in Hawaiʻi, chickens were everywhere! After our family experienced homelessness and lived on the beach when we were little, the first house my parents were able to rent was actually on a chicken farm! So when we found this little chicken statue for Ohana Cove, it felt way too perfect to ignore.
Lehua isn’t just a cute mascot.
She’s a little reminder of where we came from, how far we’ve come, and the kind of warm, playful, full-circle aloha we want every guest to feel here.
So now, when you stay at Ohana Cove, keep your eyes open for Lehua. She may be hiding somewhere around the space, waiting to be found. 🌺🐓
